Ground Entry lift tables are primarily used in applications where the lift is to be loaded by a pallet jack, there is not enough room for a ramp or a ramp would cause a tripping hazard, and operations require a degree of flexibility that a pit mounted lift would be unable to provide. While we do offer various customization options, given the amount of restrictions placed on a ground entry design, they are not as plentiful as they are on a standard scissors lift table.
Lift Products manufactures two distinct ground entry lift designs. The first is a lift platform that has a beveled front lip and a lowered height of 0.5". This design is accomplished by placing the platform support structure to the sides of the platform. In order to minimize any reaching over the side walls and improve load access, the side walls have been designed to be as narrow as possible.
The Level Lifter has an exclusive 4-point lifting system that minimizes any potential load deflection that might occur. This level platform is maintained throughout the actuation of the lift and is particularly important for unstable loads such as reams of paper product.
The SXTLP is a stainless steel USDA approved pan style ground entry lift. The actuation of the lift is accomplished by totally enclosed dual hydraulic lift cylinders mounted in the back. The platform is supported by scissor arms on both sides that roll along the side walls as the platform travels.
The second type of ground entry lift table that we offer are those in which the platform has been cut out to provide room for a load to be transferred onto the platform. These types of lifts work with open bottom pallets and skids or any other type of container that has no obstruction between the pallet jack forks and the floor.
The U-lift is designed for use with 21" wide pallet jacks and has a perimeter safety bar that will stop lowering of the lift if contact with an obstruction is made. The clearance between the platform is 23" wide.
The E-lift is designed for use with 27" wide pallet jacks and also comes with a safety perimeter bar. The E-lift has an additional center support for wider pallets or those loads that have a centralized weight distribution.
